The serene natural beauty of Perry County is sharply contrasted with the bustling activity on the two major highways that cross through it. Routes 11 & 15 North and South, and 322 East and West bring the convenience of a metropolitan area to within a short drive for residents and businesses.
Perry County has long been known as a bedroom community for suburban Harrisburg, 18 miles to the South. Completion of improvements to route 322, which leads into Perry County from Harrisburg, has made the area even more attractive and accessable for new business development.
